Building More Than Just Homes

There’s something special happening in our community, and we want you to be part of it.

Habitat for Humanity Conyers-Rockdale isn’t just about construction—though we do plenty of that. We’re about neighbors helping neighbors. We’re about creating stability for families who work hard but struggle to find affordable housing. We’re about transforming our community, one home at a time.

Why Your Help Matters

Right now, hardworking families in Rockdale County are spending more than half their income on rent, leaving little room for groceries, healthcare, or saving for the future. A decent, affordable home changes everything. It means kids have a stable place to do homework. It means parents can build equity instead of paying someone else’s mortgage. It means a family has a foundation to build their future on.

But we can’t do this alone. We need volunteers to swing hammers, paint walls, and landscape yards. We need donors to help fund materials and land. We need advocates to spread the word about affordable housing in our community.

How You Can Get Involved

Whether you have two hours on a Saturday morning or can commit to a regular volunteer schedule, there’s a place for you. No construction experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, and there are plenty of tasks that don’t require any building skills at all.

You can also support our work through financial donations, sponsoring a build, or shopping at our ReStore location. Every dollar and every hour makes a difference.

Be Part of the Solution

Affordable housing isn’t someone else’s problem—it’s a challenge facing our neighbors, our coworkers, and families right here in Conyers and Rockdale County. Together, we can build a stronger, more stable community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
